“I am a fan of all unaged Clairins and this is my first aged expression. So nothing to compare to. But i am – unlike other reviewers – not disappointed. Yes, in the smell is not much clairin left and the oloroso cask clearly takes the center spot. But this is ok for me. I also really enjoyed the taste where there is enough sajous left and works really nicely together with cherry, black cassis and dried plum as well as sherry. Really loved this. Got 2 bottles. Update: i am correcting this score down by a point due to more tasting experiences but also after a new side by side tasting with the other release aged in whisky and rum casks catching up in my mind.”
