How does this rum taste?
RumX members rate this 10-year Foursquare highly for its toasted oak, roasted nuts and natural sweetness. The nose brings cocoa, coconut, butterscotch and pineapple; the palate adds caramel, fudge and fruity, oily depth with a dry, tannic, woody finish. Reviewers mention a soft, easy mouthfeel for the 55.9% ABV and see it as a great, limited single cask for classic Foursquare fans.

#4624 24.02.2024 Great tasting event at Whisky Watcher with food and lots of bottles. Nose Light wood, sweet, fruits, fresh, faint polish, light caramel. Palate Round, naturally sweet, light wood, fruits, light caramel, light roasted, faint caramel. Finish Wood, dry, fruit, tannins, warm, light marzipan, light caramel.
The first tasting of the night at Whisky Watcher the 24th of February 2024, with nice company. An impressive taste for a 10 year rum. In the nose, it has a toffee-like sweetness to it, with some nuttyness and leather. The notes brings out an oily fruit sensation
What a treat! A bit of acetic acid on the nose, with the typical foursquare varnish orange notes.
