"An absolute favorite rum! From the taste profile it reminds very much of the El Dorado 15 Years. Only denser, more complex. Unfortunately, also a lot of sugar, that's the flaw.Distilled on the Port Mourant column, 15 years equatorial glow and 2 years in a cognac barrel. The perfect rum for a cold winter evening! Still it is cold outside..."
"A pleasant sweetness full and bold taste, which is characterized by cinnamon, cloves and Christmas notes 🎅🏻 - Taste of plums and raisins. The aftertaste is very long - A pleasant glass of rum."
"A new bottle at the time of tasting, at my favorite metal-bar in Copenhagen. A deep scent of vanilla and sweetness, and hints of wood. Notes of raisins, cinnamon, molasses, spicyness and a sweet, woody aftertaste"
"Basically nice profile - the nose is still dominated by the classic Demerara notes. Unfortunately, everything is somewhat marred on the palate by the subsequent sweetening (suspected from the flavor profile), as the sugary notes become too dominant."
