“The alcohol is well integrated if you give it some time. A few floral notes in combination with (burnt) sugar. If you compare it with the Duo Arrangemant, it is somewhat unrounded and one-dimensional.”

“Ester and sour yeast dough on the nose... the full blast! But then surprisingly tame on the palate... creamy, the alcohol is very well integrated and first the note of burnt sugar which later changes into a slightly spicy black pepper, the finish is so medium long and simple (slightly bitter) a good rum, but it somehow lacks the typical Worthy Park feeling”

“I think these two are almost a bit underrated for the Plv - you get two nice Worthyparks here, which admittedly can't quite compete with the big WP bottlings, but which are also in a different price range. And I also think it's really great as an experiment to see how storage affects one and the same distillate. At first, I only liked the aged one - I find this mixture of young wood, esters and furniture polish/leather with hints of pepper at the end really delicious. But the unaged one has it all, still untamed by the wood and it was the first time that I had tasted white chocolate quite clearly in a rum and somewhere it also has a little grassy Agricole-like notes and I also find cinnamon present in the finish - I would also put it on my shelf as a 0.7 bottle.”
