“Deviates from the known profile of the Grand Aromes from La Reunion but quite clear. May be partly due to the barrel influence, but the usual DNA with overripe strawberries and mint is completely missing here. Instead, the already mentioned wood notes come to bear paired with clear spice and fruit esters, which show themselves for a Grand Arome but comparatively subliminal. The rum leaves me somewhat perplexed - the wood and spice impact is too clear to me, from Grand Aromes I expect even more estery explosion.”

“Nez léger Très agréable à la mise en bouche avec du peps (cola? orange?). Passe ensuite sur du caramel puis laisse place a de l'amertume (blanc de l'agrume, caramel brûlé). Finale sur le caramel brûlé, un peu trop amer pour moi.”
