The "Très Vieux Rhum Agrocole" was produced in Marie Galante at the Bielle distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Maison Chollet. It was distilled in 2011 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 9 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 52,7%. This is a limited release and there are only 400 bottles.

“Un délice ! Un bonbon ! Quel kiff on dirait un peu un Foursquare au palais et de la cerise, de la menthe et de la coco au nez. Grosse grosse claque ! Exceptionnel. EDIT : A chaque fois que j’y retourne, je pense que c’est le meilleur Bielle que j’ai jamais goûté.”

“#4616 16.02.2024 Relaxing with an old friend I haven't seen for 10+ years. Always nice to enjoy a few good rums together. Nose Fresh, light roasted wood, fruits, floral, light caramel, faint chocolate. Palate Light wood and roasted notes, fruit, grass, floral, light medicinal, light caramel. Finish Medium long, light wood, roasted, medium dry, vegetal, light nutts, marzipan. This is a really nice rum especially when looking at the price tag. The empty glass has some dried fruit and very faint rubber notes.”
