How does this rum taste?
RumX members love the intense tropical fruit nose—lychee, mango—layered with caramel and spice. The palate hits woody, roasted coffee and black tea notes with minty-menthol and a long finish. Despite 61.5% cask strength, alcohol is well integrated and the complexity shines. Often enjoyed neat; some also mix it in a Mai Tai. A popular limited release (232 bottles) with 90 reviews and strong buyer confidence.

I have not yet warmed to the Chairman's Saint Lucia. Were somehow too dominant alcoholic for me. But this one is different, simply stunning, so round and deep! Alcohol perfectly integrated. And yes, very similar to a tropically matured Clarendon (e.g. the RA EMB 1995). Congratulations on the fine touch, GotA
Incredibly awesome Chairmans. Extremely intense after lychee, mango, salted caramel and not too much wood and nice spice. Alcohol perfectly integrated, extremely sweet yet complex and the finish of canned lychees.
