How does this rum taste?
- Perfect for Ti Punch
- Complex aromatic profile
- Fresh sugarcane taste
The Karukera Blanc Agricole rum from Guadeloupe, distilled from sugar cane juice, presents a bold 50% ABV profile marked by vibrant sugarcane, grass, and subtle vegetal notes. Users appreciate its perfect balance when crafted in cocktails like Ti Punch, revealing hidden notes of pineapple, pear, and honeydew. While some find its alcohol intensity too sharp, others enjoy the fresh and complex aromatic experience, highlighting flavors of cucumber, lime, and a touch of spice. This rum suits both traditional sipping and mixology, offering a versatile palate that divides opinions but certainly intrigues. Recommended for those seeking an authentic Agricole experience with a hint of adventure, though it might not be ideal for those averse to its vegetal profile.

To Karukera
"Karukera Blanc is produced from Blue Cane at The Esperance distillery in Guadeloupe. The Esperance distillery also produce the brand Longueteau. Overall an sensationally sweet, soft and smooth Agricole Blanc which I found perfect in a Ti Punch"
"Parfait pour les Ti’ Punchs :-)"
"The nose has the typical agricole notes with a certain freshness.the rhum is fine bubbly and oily in the glass. The taste has a certain alk. Sharpness but not unpleasant. The finish is long and brings the pineapple to the palate with earthy and floral notes. Can be drunk well as an aperitif or digestif. As a ti-punch, the floral, grassy and earthy notes are more prominent."
"Goûté au Rhum Society."
