The "Trinidad Rum" was produced in Trinidad at the Caroni distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Vinmonopolet. It was distilled in 2000 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 11 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 68,9%. "Sowohl an der Nase als auch am Gaumen eine intensive dreckige Caroni typische Note. Dezente Süße. Der Alkohol könnte besser eingebunden sein, aber alles noch im Rahmen. Leider kaum fruchtige Note. Abgang auch nochmal schöne mittellange Caroninoten. Ich mag die Abfüllung, aber er bleibt etwas eindimensional."
