"Wood, anise, licorice, some pepper - subtle sweetness and tropical fruit on the finish. Unfortunately, the alcohol remains a tad too present. The flavor spectrum of the continental PMs becomes a bit too tart for me without a counterpole; although the dwell time in the barrel already has a somewhat mitigating effect here, the counterpole of sweetness and fruit remains a bit too restrained for me. A good bottling overall, but with recognizable weaknesses."
"Very good, well-rounded PM!"
