Clément Canne Bleue 2021 is an unaged rum distilled in Martinique by Distillerie du Simon. Produced from pure sugar cane juice using a Creole Column, this rum showcases a robust 50% ABV. 18.09.2025 Received a box of white/unaged samples yesterday with many new, but also rums I have tried before. Retasting this rum and I still think this is a really nice release. Most of the Canne Bleue are really nice so something most should give a try. ----------------- This one was the best in this batch and I also ordered a bottle of this one 😊
Some floral lots of booze. Rubbing alcohol vibe a bit here. Light golden colour. It's cheap, at least. Tried this at Zoggs in Rehoboth.
This 2021 vintage of Clément's Canne Bleue is very accomplished. The nose oscillates between the fruity notes of citrus and lime and the more floral, earthy and olive oriented aromas. The texture in the mouth is a bit fat and presents a nice roundness, freshness and some spices. Intense, tasty and smooth, this rum makes you want to go back in the glass. The finish, very long, lets glimpse a hint of basil very appreciable. A real success for this edition.
2025 en aveugle à la maison Un tipunch tout doux, dès le nez. Alcool parfaitement intégré, rien à ajouter. En bouche il garde cette intégration parfaite alors que l'alcool arrive et nous surprend presque après avoir passé du temps sur le nez. Les arômes sont beaucoup moins présents voir absent tant c'est court mais le plaisir est dans texture incroyablement grasse, du satin. La longueur est courte mais l'effet tipunch revient et l'on garde ce petit voile huileux sur la langue. Un blanc déjà tipunch sans aucun ajout. Ultra délicat et suave, "feminin" on se demande où sont les 50dg, 40-45 aurait été plus attendu. Une belle réussite sur le fond et la forme, tout en finesse.
