Not top Hampden imho. Sherry cask made it mild, sweet, spanish style rum with bourbon taste. Not wild esther Hampden.
Banana & fruit, strong barrel influence, round & full, caramel, with pleasant alcohol, sweet & a bit thin on the finish, but with mild, long, dry finish, uncomplicated & pleasant.
A fruity only slightly funky Hampden with a smooth sherry finish. Worth the price imo
