To Distillerie du Simon
"After a quick discovery of the rumfest, we bought the bottle and had a real tasting and direct comparison with its 2003 counterpart. The nose: enchanting, a real bohneur and a perfect balance between the freshness of the cane, the fruitiness and the darker contributions of the cask. The degree is perfect, so you can dive right in without having to dab your nostrils afterwards. The 2003 was more on the barrel. On the palate: insanely greedy, super. In short, a top-notch Agricole, a model of delicacy and balance that I found even better than the 2003 precisely because it reduces the woodiness and puts even more fruit in the glass."
"Wonderful balance and intense as well as dry on the palate. I like the spices and wood as well as the light chocolate and tobacco on the profile. Price to quality is very good in my mind."
