„Après la découverte rapide du rhumfest, achat de la bouteille et vraie dégustation et comparaison directe avec son homologue le 2003. Le nez : enchanteur, un vrai bohneur et un parfait équilibre entre la fraîcheur de la canne, le fruité et les apports plus sombres du fût. Le degré est parfait, tu peux plonger dedans tout de suite et sans avoir à te pommader les narines après. Le 2003 était plus sur le fût. En bouche : gourmandise folle, super. En bref, un Agricole au top, un modèle de gourmandise et d'équilibre que j'ai trouvé encore meilleur que le 2003 justement parce qu'il réduit le boisé et met encore plus de fruits dans le verre.“

„Un single cask au nez absolument fabuleux. Très équilibré entre les fruits confits et tropicaux, les épices, le tabac, le cacao et la fraîcheur légèrement terreuse. La bouche suit une trame similaire, à la fois complexe et équilibrée. La finale est légèrement en deçà de ce que ce rhum offre au préalable, mais l’impression au nez et en bouche reste remarquable. Un très bon Millésime 2006.“

„La dégustation de ce rhum laisse perplexe. Il n'est pas évident d'identifier des arômes comme dans d'autres rhums. Je remarque que c'est sur ce type de rhums qu'on trouve l'adjectif "complexe". Ce n'est pas ce qui me vient à l'esprit ici. Je dirai plutôt harmonieux : les arômes ont été si habilement assemblés qu'il donne un tout difficile à décrypter mais agréable. Le profil reste trop sombre à mon goût.“
