"02-09.04.2022 This was crazy week, where some friends and I rented a nice summerhouse on Rømø. The plan was to go nuts for a whole week with different rums without going overboard. The final agreement came to 6 rums a day and then enjoy nice walks or ferry rides during the day. Day 5 Notes Medium to dark in colour. Nose Wood, roasted, faint chocolate, light caramel, plum, light cherry, faint medicinal. Palate Oily, wood, roasted, light tannins, plum, light cherry, light chocolate, spice, faint caramel. Finish Medium long, wood, faint smoke, light coffee, prunes, light cherry."
"My first Enmore 1988 and only my third, so I'm probably lacking in references, but I think it's very good. The nose is powerful and sweet at the same time, while on the palate there's a good mix of red fruit and darker coffee-caramel notes. On the palate, I think there's a probable reduction. I'm lowering my rating considering the price, even though I know that cheap demerara isn't just around the corner."
"Tasted the Society Rum. Pretty good!"
"The nose is a little bit behind, but the whole remains quite exceptional..."
