“A balanced and fine thing. It reminds me starkly of a Trident chewing gum from my youth. Various fruits with partly leathery, slightly smoky, woody notes. Unfortunately, there is a lot of alcohol in the forefront of the nose over time.”

“Here I definitely expected more. Is delicious, can be drunk absolutely well but the cognac and port barrel have simply gained the upper hand and the otherwise so horny fruity estrigen pineapple violet strawberry and generally fruit notes have almost no chance to come through more ... Good that I have only taken a sample! Unfortunately, the weakest Chai humide so far ... Also the relatively low alcohol content is a factor here that is disappointing. Not a bad rum but absolutely no chance compared to Chai humide 8/10 or the Savanna Madras!”

“Great Savanna with port finish that adds the red and sour berries, chocolate and delicious spices. A special feature is found in the finish: herbal notes like tea join the roasty coffee and the other flavors. A tad too acidic in the finish, which gives a few points off. Overall, however, not bad :-)”
