„Solid rum with a not uninteresting flavor mix of yellow and green fruits, some wood and green spice and herbal notes. Despite the seventeen years in the barrel, however, it lacks depth for me, the rum seems relatively light and also in the finish hardly anything sticks except light spice. The bottom line costs the classification in higher realms, because the profile remains unfortunately too unspecific.“

„In fact, my first Florida rum.Nose: fruity-spicy and slightly woody. Reminds me of white wine. Initially green apple, which is replaced by apricot, then also seems quite fragrant-floral with a distinct syrupy sweetness. In addition, sweet-sour lemon peel. A woody, slightly smoky note with vanilla lies over everything. It's not all that bad on the nose...On the palate, it's different. Sweet and tart, with sugar dissolved in water. Unfortunately, very thin. Some apricot comes through. It seems quite green, slightly woody, with old vanilla powder.The finish is very short and thin, some wood remains.The dilution ruins much of the palate at the end. Too bad about the 17 years of storage.“
