"This is a very rare bottle and the price went up pretty quickly after the initial release. That said it's a really good Skeldon. The darkness is there combined with fruit and wood. The balance between the individual flavours is really good and the wood is not dominating."

"Intense caramel, raisins and chocolate on the nose. In the taste it is then a very nicely balanced combination of these flavours complemented by wood and leather. The finish is medium long, quite intense without any unpleasant tails. A very nice rum"

"A subtle and classic nose - caramel, wood, and rasin. Mouth is dry and more classic Demerara, with mint and menthol alongside the more classic raisin and chocolate notes. It’s not quite as well balanced and deep or layered as some of the other Skeldon’s I have tried but a solid example of the mark. The finish is fresh and vibrant, menthol and peppermint alongside saddle and leather with a sweet brown sugar end. More mint than expected and lacking some integration to really elevate it but a super solid rum"

"easy drinking, quite wood and natural sweetness driven"
