A very pleasant Rum Nation, but one that from the point of view of bouquet gives few emotions. The whiskey cask in this case did not permeate the aroma with its perfume, but only went to lightly refine the distillate. A woody, woody rum with light smoky notes.

Enjoyed the nose…cherries, stone fruit, hint of watermelon Not totally into the age, dusty must taste. Getting an off putting diesel fuel after taste..
A very roasted palate which is not really complemented with much in terms of other notes. 55.2 is to strong for me and I diluted. Did not change the balance of the overwhelming charring.
