Had a nice tasting this past weekend with a lot of SBS. First off, price to quality is pretty good on this one. I would have loved a higher ABV because it would have given more to the flavours. Besides that the nose has a light funky touch and the profile is nicely fruity. The wood in the profile is also very nice without being too dominant.
Nose is quite shy. Spices overpower the palate. It's mouthfillin and slightly syrupy. Not impressive, unfortunately.
Beautiful, excellent sample
A pleasant sipper which, thanks to its strength, invites you to take a bigger sip, but doesn't necessarily offer any depth. Jamaica and Barbados are already recognizable and harmonize well with each other, but the result is a little too unspectacular to be remembered for long.
