A.H. Riise Royal Danish Navy Naval Cadet
Ultra-sweet, chocolatey, rich—dessert in a glass.
The aroma brings dried fruit, caramel, and chocolate, while the palate delivers pronounced syrupy sweetness with raisin and spice. A favorite among fans of intensely sweet, dessert-style rums—though opinions are mixed, it remains a community-backed choice for newcomers.

Chocolate and dried fruit dominate the Royal Danish Navy Naval Cadet, with RumX tasters highlighting its rich, dessert-like sweetness. Notes of caramel, raisin, and occasional gingerbread spice add to its syrupy profile, creating a rum that's approachable but unmistakably on the sweeter side. Another sweet release and I hope that in the future they will reduce the sweetness a bit because it really doesn't become well at all. I do also know that they want to make rum for the masses and beginners.....

Burnt candy sweet with an awful hint of sweetener. Way to sweet for me though the burnt candy actually has something good in it. Alas, for me it's a low score.
