To Santiago de Cuba
"Overall an quite OK rum from Cuba Ron S.A., that’s aged for 8 years in old oak casks and bottled without any additives. The nose is fruity with aromas of apples, pears and Armagnac. At the palate and during the medium long finish it’s fruity and nutty with flavors of apples, caramel, some licorice and bitter almonds. The latter flavor gets even more intense during the finish."
"Almost the nightcap of the evening, another CubaLibre mixed with DomM from this rum. At least I think so. It tasted much better than the Cubans from Rum Artesanal. It's nice, but nothing special either. It's not really convincing neat either."
"Nice fruity Cuban..."
"Without endulging in a large blind tasting: this one feels a bit more intense flavorwise than some other Vuban expressions of similar age. A bit more bourbon forwards with vanilla and burnt caramel. Some fruits and honey as well. Good value for money."
