"First a bit off-putting on the nose because it smells of sweat🤣but then after some time it becomes juniper, musty pear, honey, chocolate and cinnamon cookies. Barrel notes rather restrained and very elegant!"

"I didn't think much of this rum, as I was certain that the Madeira fit would soak it up and make it too grapey. Far from it, the nose is very Madeira, but the palate is very pleasant and round, without becoming nauseating, where the wood takes over. A fine discovery."
