“This is a retasting with the RumX guys and I stick to my score. ------ It was nice to try this rum again and I was confirmed in my former score. A nice Versailles with dried fruit, leather and roasted wood. Nice and dry on the palate without it being too much. Like the tannins released on the finish.”

“While nose and finish deliver in line with the other 94 REVs, there is a lack of intensity and complexity on the palate compared to other releases. Not sure if this was just a bit to much reduction… still good stuff carried by nose and finish but somewhat behind some sister casks.”
