My first tasting in a few weeks, as the kids bring home everything that besieges the nose and throat. But what an entry. I really like it. Almost quaffable with lots of caramel and nice spice. The grassy notes are there and round out this great Agricole. From memory, one of the best JMs I've tasted so far.
On the nose cherry wood, caramel and herbs / spices (coriander). On the palate nutmeg, dried fruit, and a slight peppery spiciness.
A very pleasant mild sweet nose of caramel, cherry and pecan. The palate is initially sweet woody, slight pimento heat and later herbaceous grassy! The finish is predominantly grassy - hay notes with a hint of herbs! A beautiful sipper!
