"Guillaume de Roany and “Les Rhums du Sud” selected a barrel, vintage 2008, from the Barbadian Foursquare distillery. Whereafter they sailed it to Europe and bottled 412 bottles at ABV 61,2%. Overall a delicious rum that can’t disappoint anyone liking Bajan rums."
"Wow, ein richtig klasse Foursquare hier. Hätte ich nicht gedacht. Jedenfalls eine schöne eichige Nase mit schönen Vanilllenoten. Am Gaumen kommen dann noch Nuss und dunkle Schokolade hinzu. Ein sehr leckerer Rum :-)"
"On the nose, drier, more solvent/wood glue with more alcohol. On the palate, the wood glue comes through strongly and it's an explosion of spices (pepper / nutmeg / ), stinging on the tongue and oral cavity. A firework display of spices and aromas. Medium-long finish, the palate becomes pasty (not very pleasant), with wood and spices coming through. We're less sure about the gourmand aspect."
"Solid Foursquare without much fanfare. This can be seen positively, because quality is of course present - but viewed differently, it is also very interchangeable."
