How does this rum taste?
Père Labat BIO is an unaged agricole rum distilled from sugarcane juice at the Poisson distillery in Marie Galante. With an ABV of 52%, this limited release from 2021 tantalizes with its complex aroma profile featuring notes of agricole, lime, and pepper, alongside flowery and vanilla undertones. On the palate, expect a warm combination of vanilla, ginger, and grass, enriched by tropical fruit nuances and a fresh finish. User reviews highlight its unique character, praised for its balance and body, yet it may not appeal to all due to its intense and natural taste. With only 360 bottles available, it's a sought-after choice for rum enthusiasts.

We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
I got this bottle yesterday and I'm happy i was one of the lucky ones getting my hand on one. A highly limited release, and a good one at the same time. Lovely Agricole all the way with tropical fruits and natural vanilla swetness. The grass you usually get from the Agricole is also there. There is a natural warmth to it not only the one coming from the ABV. Needs to rest for a while before you give it a go.
Agricultural nose: vanilla/pepper/citrus Warm mouthfeel: vanilla/herbaceous/fresh This is still a good agricole, but not really to my taste.
Very tasty, round and balanced! Great piece! Has something of 86 rockley!
Tasted at RhumFest, so tasting incomplete... Fresh, bold, pure sugar cane.
