I can't really do anything with the whisky finish. However, I can at least taste the quality and idea behind it.
Tasted 26-05-2020 For my pallette this was certainly not one , although the presenter have me a journey through Germany and exploring anacestory. I do not drink peated whisky so this was never going to do well in tasting notes .. imagine Christmas pudding then bam the whiskey hits ...
I think this is one that you either like or not. The influence of the cask is very obvious but without dominating the rum overall. I think whisky lovers might like this rum actually because of the cask that was used. I like smoke/peat as long as its not overpowering the other flavours.
Auf dem 11. GRF probiert. Mich hat er überzeugt. Unheimlich viel Kraft und Rauch. Eher etwas für Liebhaber von rauchigen Whiskys
