Für mich einer der besten Rums, die ich bisher verkostet habe. Die Farbe, der Duft, der erste Schluck am Gaumen - für mich ein Meisterwerk. Rund, komplex, nicht zu süß. Wie gerne ich mehr als eine Flasche hätte..
Stoff von Wagemut gehört zu meinen Favoriten.
Mit der Wagemut PX Cask Special Edition bringt Nicolas Kröger eine äußerst ungewöhnliche Abfüllung auf den Markt, die ich so keinesfalls von ihm erwartet hätte und die für mich auch mit keinem mir bekannten Produkt vergleichbar ist. In einem Blind-Tasting würde ich auf einen extrem lang gelagerten Sherry tippen und mich über den Alkoholgehalt wundern. Die ausgeprägte Süße wird Rumpuristen natürlich abschrecken, mir gefällt so etwas aber immer mal. Ein bisschen schade finde ich dann aber am Ende doch, dass man die Besonderheiten des Rums nicht herausschmeckt. Also ich zumindest nicht. Auf der anderen Seite zeigt das aber auch, wie perfekt der Rum und der Sherry in dem Fass zusammengefunden habe. Aber es hätte mich natürlich wahnsinnig interessiert wie der 19-jährige Foursquare schmeckt.
