“Un Worthy Park de gamme permanente bien élaboré dans lequel on retrouve l’ADN d’un rhum jamaïcain en douceur. Le nez est très fruité (banane, ananas, poire, fruits exotiques très mûrs) et présente une dose raisonnable de funk avec les esters. Vanille et cannelle viennent apporter quelques épices à ce profil simple, net et précis. L’attaque en bouche est souple et douce. Malgré la dilution, le funk a été préservé avec ses arômes fermentaires et phénoliques ainsi que ses notes fruitées typiques (ananas, banane, orange et poire). Sûrement pas le plus complexe des rhums mais il se laisse bien boire. La finale est de longueur correcte. Elle revient sur le boisé épicé, avec quelques notes rôties qui s’immiscent parmi les fruits et les esters. Un rhum sympathique, accessible pour les néophytes tant en termes de goût que de prix.”

“Sample no.3 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2022. I have hears and read about the ”funky” style of Jamaican rum and this is my first tasting of one. Very complex and hard to distinguish the aromas but I think I find pear and maybe apple. The funky must be the harsh and sharp smell almost like a solvent or pint thinner. Palate is way better than the nose. Pineapple at first but more towards pear and apple later on. Very different taste for a rum but not in a bad way. This makes me want to explore more funky rums.”
