"This one is surprisingly a little bit darker in color than AM Barbados SC 2001. It is also more sweeter on the 👃 with lot of nougat, vanilla and caramel notes and of course lot's of wood and subtle fruity sweetness. The taste is completely different than 2001 :D I did not expect such big difference. This one is very specific and different from 2001 or any Barbadian rum. It has completely different notes than I expected. There is bitterness from charred barrels, i sense a lot of wood with sort of peated aroma, as if the charred barrel was not enough but it also presents the smoky aromas. This one it seems is all about smokiness and peaty & charred finish that is long lasting. Boy I love this one for it's uniqueness. I will probably order a bottle."
"It's a little weaker."
