Before Christmas our company rum club got all 6 of this release as samples and we were surprised at the overall quality of this special cask release. This particular release is really nice and the nose offers a sweet fruity nose with caramel, vanilla and a good portion of wood. The saurmternes finish shines in there as well. The palate continues from the nose with fruits, vanilla and smoky wood. The palate is lightly dry, but somplex and well rounded. The finish is long and lightly dry with smoky wood, raisins and chocolate.
