It was distilled in 2007 from Molasses with a Pot and Column Still and then aged for 10 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 62,1%. This is a limited release and there are only 267 bottles.

“14.04.2018 A nice get-together with good friends and own bottles. Notes. Nose: Intense, wood, raisin, light smoke, coconut, nutty. Palate: warm, wood, light smoke, coconut, caramel, mint. Finish: medium to long, dried fruit, wood, nuts.”

“Foursquare Distillery 2007 Compagnie des Indes Distilled: 12.2007 Bottled: 07.2018 Aged 10 Years 62,1% Cask No. BF015 One of 267 Bottles Melasse Rum Farbe: Goldbraun Geruch: Alkoholisch scharf. Riecht nach vergammelten Kokosnüssen und Grapefruit-Schale. Ziemlich verquer und bei jedem Mal anders ... hat eine komische Geruchskomponente, wird dann aber nach längerem Stehen besser. Etwas Fudge/ Vanille/ Karamell. Geschmack: Süß mit Karamell, zugleich scharf im Mund. Beim Schlucken dann extrem kräftig und auch lecker. Würzig mit Aromen von Zitrusfrüchten, Toffee, Haselnuss, Kaffee und Lakritze.”
