How does this rum taste?
S.B.S Belize (Rum Depot) is a limited-release rum produced in Belize by Travellers distillery and bottled by 1423 World Class Spirits. Distilled from molasses in 2014 and aged for seven years, this rum showcases an ABV of 67.2%. Users praise its roasted and woody aromas complemented by caramel, coconut, and spice notes. On the palate, the rum delivers dominant woody and vanilla flavors, with hints of roasted nuts, smoky undertones, and raisin. While it is appreciated for its complexity and well-integrated alcohol, some find it slightly one-dimensional and missing fruitiness. A robust choice for those seeking a powerful sipping experience.

Im Blind Tasting (4 Rums aus Belize) Dritter. Schwächste Nase, aber am Gaumen schon sehr kräftig.
Nice Travellers. Has a faint smokiness towards the end alongside the more common notes you would except. Alcohol is quite present on the nose and throughout.
Once again you get a lot for your money with this release. Fruity with roasted/smoky wood notes and light spices. I like the warmth on the palate as well as the light caramel and wood notes.
Die Schokolade bleibt super lange am Gaumen und ist extrem kräftig aber trotzdem angenehm da der Alkohol sehr gut eingebunden ist. In der Nase metallisch (Reste von gespitzten Bleistift) und verkohlter Speck.
