Plantation St. Lucia (The Nectar) 2007
Highly praised for its rich dried-fruit, caramel and chocolate profile, very good alcohol integration and satisfying intensity. A focused, tasty Saint Lucia that feels surprisingly approachable for 60%.
Fans of well-aged, slightly sweet molasses rums who enjoy caramel, dried fruits and chocolate, want some power at 60% ABV, but prefer it rounded rather than aggressive.

My best Chairman's so far. Very balanced between medicine, cognac barrel and maturity aromas like prune. Alcohol incredibly well integrated. Even my wife doesn't notice the 60%. Wonderful intensity and length.I should get a few bottles....
I like Chairmans, and this is a good one. Fruity Caramel, complex but in good balance. The end is quite woody, though.
Very round, very intense, alcohol perfectly integrated, balanced ratio between fruit, barrel and spice! Top rum
