"Bought me two bottles of this limited Chairman’s Reserve Master’s Selection created for Slovakia from the Slovakian shop Svet nápojov/Bondston. It’s a blend of rum from the John Dore 1 (Pot Still) and the Vendome (Double Retort) selected by the Cellar Master Cyril Mangal. After distillation it was aged for 8 years in oak ex-bourbon barrels before bottled in just 287 bottles. Overall an interesting rum with an elegant aroma, sprawling esters rich taste and a medium long finish that’s quite weak."
"The aroma is mainly technical notes with tropical fruits. A beautifully balanced fragrance just right. In the taste it's similar, perhaps more dominated by the technical side, slightly thrown to Trinidadian dirtiness. The price/performance ratio is top. My favourite low-volume master."
