“Boah, was für ein Muskelprotz mit Ausdauer! Ob das am sehr seltenen Chestnut Cask (insgesamt nur 6 Rums hier gelistet) liegt? Also dieser Rum ist definitiv nichts für schwache Gemüter, er beißt kräftig zu, fast zu kräftig, der Alkohol könnte etwas besser integriert sein. Ich schmecke schwere dunkelrote Früchte, auch etwas typische Minze hintenraus. Überhaupt, der Abgaaaaang! Ich glaube, ich hatte noch nie einen Rum mit so einem langen und sich noch intensivierenden Abgang im Glas. Ein Rum-Schraubstock, der sich immer weiter schließt, das ist das Bild, was mir in den Kopf kommt. Tolle New-Grove-Bombe des Jahrgangs 2009, der mich noch nie enttäuscht hat!”
