“Für mich zu süss und kräuterig für einen Caroni und zu wenig Schmackes (ABV), relativ lieblich. Das Werkstattfeeling ist mehr wie die Werkbank einer Bastelstube aus dem TV…zu aufgeräumt. Dezente Nase. Alles bis auf die Süsse eher zurückhaltend. Mit der Zeit mehr Kräuter.”

“Ein fruchtiger, runder Caroni, der relativ süß wirkt. Dabei jedoch nicht die Süße von verbranntem Gummi, sondern eine Karamellsüße, die ich von Caroni bisher nicht so kenne. Mit insgesamt aber doch zu rund, zu süß und zu wenig dreckig für Caroni. Leider das, was man an Caroni so liebt, fehlt hier. Trotzdem kein schlechter Rum und für Caroni-Neulinge vielleicht ein guter, weil sanfter Einstieg. Dafür jedoch leider viel zu teuer, der Preis passt maximal zum Namen, keinesfalls zur Qualität…”

“Gummi aber im Gegensatz zu vielen caronis die ich kenne kein abgefahrene verbrannter gummireifen sondern eher an einen frischen Fahradschlauch erinnernt den man gerade aus seiner Packung holt. Erstaunlich mild und angenehm. Trotzdem intensiv und komplex”

“Ein eher „leichter“ Vertreter des Caroni-Rums. Die typischen Werkstattnoten sind vorhanden. Gummi, Teer aber auch metallische Noten und Politur. Daneben ein deutlicher, fruchtiger Einschlag sowie süße Noten von gebranntem Zucker und Honig. Im mittellangen Abgang Fass/Holz und Leder. Gelungen, kommt aber nicht ganz an die Spitzenabfüllungen andere 96er Jahrgänge heran.”

“Für einen Caroni doch sehr verhalten in der Nase. Aber dennoch ist es leicht da, dieses Verbrannte, dieses künstliche Plastikartige. Gummi und Jod gehen etwas in Wachs über. Dazu kommt eine deutlich süße Note, von gebranntem Zucker oder Karamell. Er ist doch recht fruchtig, erinnert mich an grünen Apfel mit ein wenig Kirsche. Am Gaumen zuerst tatsächlich ein bisschen dünn, dann kommen erst die leicht dreckigen Aromen, aber auch hier nur sehr verhalten. Leicht bitter-salzig, ein bisschen Gummi, ein bisschen verbrannt. An Frucht wieder grüner Apfel mit Anis. Der Abgang ist recht kurz mit ein wenig Plastik und schwarzem Tee. Insgesamt ein doch eher schwacher Vertreter seiner Art, zumal des 96er Jahrgangs.”

“Nase: alte geteerte Eisenbahnschwelle in der Sommerhitze um 14:47 Uhr 😜 daneben scheint vor allem Malz und Tee durch. Gaumen: sehr bitter mit viel Teer und Gummi und ein wenig Süße. Nachklang: bittere Eiche mit medizinischen Noten wie Jod und Hustensaft. Caroni ist da, aber ich empfinde den Rum irgendwie unausgewogen - eventuell wegen der Bitterkeit.”
