“8:On the nose it is fresh, fruity and a bit sharp in the beginning. Smokiness is present all the time. A very kind nose with tropical fruits, hints of mango, some coconut and stone fruits, caramel .A gentle layer of milk chocolate makes this feel like a summery fruit-chocolate pie. In the beginning there is a slight spiciness. 7,4:On the palate warmer and sweeter than the nose suggests, there’s more spice and some added fruits. Bananas, mangos and oranges. This combines well with the still-present milk chocolate and some caramel, iodine also, some ashes, camp fire, a pinch of salt. 7,3:The finish is smoky, with tropical fruits and a bit of a spiciness. “With a short to medium finish, this is a sweet rum with a little bite to it. Leave to rest before trying, then most of the bite is gone. Fruity with a bit of caramel and a pinch of vanilla.”
