A.H. Riise Centennial Celebration Rum
Most love its rich chocolate-caramel sweetness and mild alcohol, critics find it flat, artificial and overpriced. Consensus: a tasty dessert-like Riise for sugar-friendly palates, not a classic rum purist’s pick.
Those who enjoy very sweet, liqueur-like rums or dessert drams, especially fans of chocolate, caramel and sherry notes looking for an easy, smooth 45% sipper.

How does this rum taste?
Dessert-style, ultra-sweet celebration sipper
If you like A.H. Riise’s sweeter releases or rum liqueurs, this pushes the chocolate-sherry dessert angle; if you prefer dry, complex rums, it will feel flat and sugary.
Rum fans avoiding sugar or seeking dry, complex, spirit-forward profiles; budget-conscious buyers who dislike paying extra for a heavily dosed, softer style rum.

By rum lovers, for rum lovers
I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 25,000 bottlings, 270,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 50,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

schmeckt nach längerer zeit wie ne tafel schokolade.....leider merkt man die 79gr. zucker pro liter.....sollte man im regal haben.....echt lecker
Brutal Süß und Künstlich...
8:On the nose, here is a rum a little different than what the brand had accustomed us to. It has slightly woody, quite tender profile. The wood is scented with tobacco, vanilla or caramel. The aromas are balanced and the spices, although very present, do not overdo it.With an aeration, it is once again the wood that takes the lead and joins a resinous rum.The dried fruits (dates and figs) are coated in honey and the cinnamon blows even more beautifully. The rum is sweet, but we are into carrot cake or gingerbread rather than confectionery. 8,2:On the palate, as on the nose, it is the rum which alone opens the parade of aromas. We first welcome a white and soft wood which exudes notes of coconut and vanilla, then the syrup with sweet spices pours out like maple syrup. The touch is very sweet and this time takes us to the funfair with its candy apples and candy canes. 8:The finish is on cooked sugar and caramel, with of course cinnamon, which is omnipresent from start to finish.
very boring, unidimensional, flat
