"20.07.2019 Nice private blind tasting where we put tinfoil around the bottles we brought. That ended up being a great evening. Notes Light in colour. Nose Wood, light roasted, medicinal, plum, raisin, light marzipan and coconut, faint licorice. Palate Wood, light roasted, naturally sweet, licorice, light nutts, plum, light chocolate, medicinal. Finish Medium to long, wood, cherry, light citrus, nutts, light licorice."
"Ein schön ausgewogener Guyana Rum, an der Nase fruchtig, eher richtung getrocknete Früchte, Rosine, Pflaume. Etwas Vanille, Holz gepaart mit einer süße, vielleicht Keksteig. Am Gaumen dann von Anfang bis Ende sehr Rund. Getrocknete Früchte, ein hauch Röstaromen und Vanille, natürlich auch Holz. Sehr mild nicht scharfkantig."
"A good bit more intense than the Colours of Rum. Aromatically a bit more complex, but also a bit untamed - despite the not too high alcohol content, the spices, smoky notes and some spiciness in the finish clearly have an effect here. Also interesting is the difference between first impression on the nose and the flavor profile on the palate, which changes abruptly from fruity-lovely to tart-spicy. Did not like me at the first tasting shortly after the release particularly well, this judgment is now corrected somewhat; the rum is definitely not a bad one. However, the release is still a bit too impetuous for me."
"Color: Bright gold Aroma: Fruity elegant and aromatic of peach, mango and pear. Smells very tasty vanilla and cookie dough, wood, licorice, straw and spices. Taste: Sweet and mild in the mouth. Creamy on the swallow, then a fruit explosion with pear brandy and fruit brandy. Also vanilla, sandalwood and pleasantly spicy at the same time. Very elegant and delicious, mild and round. Finish: Medium length Vanilla and oak. Dry and spicy aftertaste 87 points"
