„'Jürgen, lass uns doch mal einen Handelsmarkenklon von diesem Cinecane dieser Höhle der Löwen Buben von der Schmeckerei machen.' Jürgen (oder wie auch immer der/die Verantwortliche heißt) fand die Idee super. Die Aldi Kundschaft scheinbar nicht so. Nischenprodukt und das als Klon, ohje. Dabei können die das mit den billigen aber guten Rums bei Pabst und Richarz doch, wie man an der 'Paul & Virginie' Range sieht. Im Gegensatz zum Original springt einen hier in der Nase der Alkohol an. Und das flache, dünne, künstliche Popcornaroma. Nix Butter, dafür künstlich verbrannt. Das Aroma ist am Gaumen dazu dann auch noch ohne jedes Volumen und es bleibt nur noch ein Hauch des Popcorn übrig. Stattdessen zuerst alles überdeckende Süße, die umgehend von scharfem Alkohol eingeholt wird. Danach passiert exakt nichts mehr, ausser dem Abklingen von beidem. Macht den Eindruck eines billigen Likörs mit zu viel Prozenten. Was dann auch erklärt warum ich das Ding für unter 5 Gulden auf dem Grabbeltisch gefunden habe. Nichtmal die wenigen die hier zugeschlagen haben, haben eine zweite Pulle mitgenommen. Frecher Totalausfall, aber sicherlich spaßig zum Backen.“
