“Al naso un po’ atipico e poco decifrabile! La parte sorprendente è invece il gusto. Scuro, intenso con una bella parte caramellata! Sorpreso piacevolmente!”

“Both the oldest and the most expensive rhum I’ve tried so far. The nose is a delight. Picture the darkest cherry yoghurt you could ever imagine. I could sniff this all day. Carries through exactly those flavors with very well integrated alcohol. Also adds some vanilla toffee to the mix. Lovely but if I have to nitpick I would have loved to see 3-4% extra ABV. Very unique profile. Very little in the way of lime/tropical fruits and more like a dark wave of rum cherry. Goes north of 1300€ today so I can’t say it’s a steal but man it sure is tasty.”
