Very unusual Mount Gay! The extra year in the Andean Oak is definitely noticeable. Alcohol is very well integrated and not too thin either. Flavor is rather herbal and spicy dry. Somewhat reminiscent of the mount gilboa from velier Warren Khong and the other velier mount gay bottlings. So really warm I do not get with the profile but.... Nevertheless, probably the most unusual mount gay of the Special Editions and quite exciting.
Auto-translatedA beautiful nose that gets off to a strong start: harmonious, very fruity and herbal with a clear honey note. Unfortunately a little unbalanced in the mouth and finish, a touch too bitter and sour. However, very intense despite only 48%, which I found positive. All in all, a good rum with a proud price.
Auto-translatedA nose that is difficult to describe. Beautiful sticky notes, honey, spices and fruity. Very balanced, not too weak, not too strong. Almost like a whisky in the mouth.🤣Honey, spice, dry and heather. The storage in oak barrels fits perfectly.👌 Nice tingling finish with good spice. You can tell that a very good product has been created here with skill and craftsmanship. However, there is still a lot missing from the top league, the taste profile is too arbitrary.
Auto-translatedGreat pear associations. Then floral on the palate and a wet wood note. The Madeira cask, however, is again ne quality ribs on it.
