Einen auf 40% verdünnten Chairman‘s hatte ich auch noch nicht. Wie bei einigen verdünnten Rums hatte ich auch hier zunächst eine unangenehme alkoholische Schärfe, die aber sehr schnell wieder verdampfte. Nun denn… Nase: aromatisch aber recht flach. Es dauert schon etwas, bis man die Feinheiten erkennt. Dann hat man eine angenehme Würze und eine schokoladige Textur. Erst Muskat und Pfeffer, mehr aber noch süße, weiche Lakritze und trockenes Kirschholz mit einer feinen Tabak-Note. Alles sehr dünn und flach, aber nett. 70 Gaumen: hier leider sehr dünn, zu dünn, fast verwässert. Es kommen nur noch würzige Aromen durch, Muskat, Pfeffer und Kümmel. Hinten etwas holzig und dann ist auch schon alles wieder weg. Sehr schade. 50
