I got samples of all the #4 releases and went through them yesterday. This Paraguay release is kind of thin all the way and it would have been better at a higher ABV in my mind. The nose is round and light with lightly roasted wood up front there is raisin, honey and vanille. In the back i find a note of leather. The palate is also light/thin with raisin, tobacco, vanilla and nuts. There is a light note of nougat and smoky wood. The finish is short to medium with dried fruit, vanilla and tobacco and the final has smoky wood. This is a low shalf rum so price matches the quality.
