“Very good Rum from Foursquare, exactly like the 2007. Price per value is OK. You will notice the 59% for sure! The alcohol is integrated better than in the 2007, so +2 rating. Nose: Classic Barbardos. Tropical fruits, vanilla, oak, marzipan, coco, banana, Honey. On the palate: Roasted, Vanilla, Marzipan. The finish is medium long with an astringend feeling with notes of oak, vanilla.”

“Very good Foursquare with almost too much barrel influence.”

“On the verge of being overpowering. Quite dry, bitter, astringent mouthfeel. Paired with the wood notes and the residual sweetness quite interesting, a rum that needs time, but then worthwhile. Interesting and definitely one of the best Barbados bottlings of the CoR series.”
