Very good Rum from Foursquare. Price per value is OK. You will notice the 60%+ for sure! Nose: Classic Barbardos. Tropical fruits, vanilla, oak, marzipan, coco, banana, Honey. On the palate: Roasted, Vanilla, Marzipan. The finish is medium long with an astringend feeling with notes of oak, vanilla.

Im Vergleich zu den neueren Jahrgängen wird der Rum etwas verschlossener, eine feine Klebstoffnote kommt zum Profil hinzu, gepaart mit etwas Mineralik. Grössere Überraschungen bleiben aber aus, es bleibt ein klassischer Foursquare.
