How does this rum taste?
- tropical fruits, vanilla, oak, marzipan, coco
- wonderful rum for everyday drinking
- recht sĂŒĂ, krĂ€ftig und gefĂ€llig
Barbados No. 1 is classic Foursquare: a rum where oak, vanilla, coconut, and toffee lead the charge, rounded out with honey and gentle spices. RumX members often touch on its reliability and gentle sweetness, with @crazyforgoodbooze calling it ârecht sĂŒĂ, krĂ€ftig und gefĂ€lligâ and @Artur SchönhĂŒtte noting it as a âbit boring but reliable profile.â Tropical fruit and roasted notes creep in alongside an easy finishâthink "light oily, spice, light wood, raisin," from @Kevin Sorensen. Thereâs plenty of warmth and astringency from its cask strength, but no surprise twistsâ"it remains a classic Foursquare,â says @Jakob. Fine for those after an unpretentious, honest Barbadian sip.
