How does this rum taste?
RumX members love Baie des Trésors Fleurs du Vent, a Martinique agricole, for its perfumed, floral nose and fresh sugarcane character. American oak adds soft vanilla, coconut and pastry notes, while the 49.8% ABV brings a dry, spicy lift with hints of white pepper. Enjoyed neat as a crisp aperitif, and often recommended in ti punch. With 101 community reviews and strong buyer confidence, it's a popular young choice.

Very fine, elegant Agricole, dry, cookie dough/macaroon, I liked it better than its brother.
Not enough notes taken in the moment. To be retested. From memory, had something more than the fruit of the rains. Re-tested under the same conditions. And same impression that it is more pleasant than the rum from the other plot.
A young rum aged in wood which offers nice sweet and spicy notes at first sight, with some floral and fruity notes and a discreet woody taste which form a rather homogeneous and soft whole. On the palate, the fruity, vegetal and woody notes are more in the background, the fault of a more spicy and spicy side that takes over. The finish remains dominated by spices, with a sensation of heat and bitterness which persists on a small length. An interesting rum for a small age account, but which is globally unbalanced and lacks character to really assert itself.
A high-quality Agricole, whose short maturation period comes into its own. A very harmonious and spicy nose. Compared to the Fruits Des Pluies, the creamy and soft tones are much more pronounced on the palate thanks to the American oak. In addition to floral and spicy elements, beautiful fruity notes such as mirabelle plums and other yellow fruits are recognizable. Floral and herbal tea notes are present and remain over the medium-long finish. If you like drinking Agricole, you can't go wrong here.
